Shadow Shot Sunday

Tide pools at Kekaha Kai Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii... TFL!

Oh! Before you leave, I have a quick question. Does anyone know why I am getting shadows in the left hand corner of my photographs? They are more obvious in my previous post. I crop them out when I can, but I'd really like to know what is causing them in the first place. Thanks for any help or clues you have to offer!

Very pretty shadow--Hawaii--long way from Nebraska! The shadow could be coming from your finger or camera strap. I had the same problem a while back, and realized all of a sudden I was holding my camera slightly different. Actually when I questioned where this shadow was coming from someone said "maybe it's your finger." To be honest my pride was insulted. About 5 shots later, I realized they were right. Embarrasing!

Aloha Debbie, one cool and very nice shadow, love it :D
You seem to be in there forever, you lucky gal..and nice music, makes me want to dance..what's the name of the dance already..but I'll skip the grass skirt and coconut shells on top haha. About you shadow, could it be caused by the camera lenses..maybe it's dirty or something, try cleaning it..it happened once to me too.

Cool shot. Must say, Hawaii looks good even with stormy weather. Looks like you're having fun.

Big Island shadows! Yay! I so wish I was there! I'm very envious of you!

Sorry I have no idea about the little shadow in the corner of your pics. I hope either Jill or M.Kate above helped with their suggestions.
