Deck of Me Challenge #15, sort of ~ Your parents


This is the picture I would use for this weeks challenge, Your Parents, IF I were home and could print it out! Rather than wait I decided to post it as is. This was taken in 1953 when they were newlyweds. One of the most valuable lessons I learned from them is that all marriages have ups and downs, but, when two people are committed to each other they can make it through even the darkest valleys.

Marriage is a challenge in itself. That photo is so beautiful. I always have thought that I grew up in the wrong time period.
Thanks for the advice on marriage. It is so nice to be reminded of lifetime happiness with a mate. You just don't hear enough of that anymore.
