Simple Stuff

Angie Lucas wrote this in her article, simple truths, for the current issue of Simple Scrapbooks:

Trying to scrapbook every picture you take is like highlighting every line in a book. Nothing stands out. Scrapbook your most meaningful memories first, then store the rest of your pictures in regular photo albums, where they can still be appreciated. Your leftover photos are still essential to your life's storyline (just like the lines of the text you didn't highlight in your book), but the stories that matter most are given the chance to shine.

I love that approach to scrapbooking. No matter what your layout style is, Big Picture Scrapbooking is another great resource if your scrapbooking philosophy is "keep it simple".
